Lanya was finally home and everything was decorated as she had imagined. Their backyard made the perfect place for the venue. A tent had been set up for the reception. Lanya was ready to lose it as she sat in her bedroom with her best friend dressing for her wedding. Her dress was a long white silky gown that hugged her body and still allowed room for the baby bump that was now more like a full moon. Lanya was in her fourth month and feeling a little down about her looks. “Today should be the happiest day of my life Kym but I sit here with my heart in my stomach and my head all over the place. I wonder if I’m doing the right thing. God I love that man, but what if he only is marring me because I’m carrying his child. I never want him to regret his decision. Look at me! I look like a fuckin’ marshmallow.”

“LaLa you look…”

“You look stunning daughter. Like the princess I always knew you would be,” a voice interrupted Kym.

“Mom?”

“Kym can I have a moment with my daughter?”

“No Kym she can’t! She can’t stand here and smile like she’s my mommy and so proud! How proud was she when she put me out? How proud was she when she turned her back on her pregnant daughter? I needed my mother and she walked away from me and now that my future husband lives in a 10,000 square foot home and has five cars in the driveway she’s my mom again! Man she can go kill herself! Fuck outta here! Who invited you anyway?”

“You think I’m here because your boyfriend has a few dollars? I’m here because my daughter is getting married! You really look breathtaking baby,” she said softly. Kym looked at Andrea; kiss Lanya’s face. “I’m going to give you guys some time alone.”

“No Kym I have nothing to say to her! She’s six years too late!” Lanya was in the middle of a bridezilla moment and Kym could see it coming a mile away. “Lanya it’s fine. Let me go check on everyone and I will send Dinero up.”

Andrea sat on the bed patting the seat next to her. Lanya smirked and looked at her dress and laughed. “Say what you must Andrea because I won’t be sitting down!”

“Lanya I am so happy that you found a man that you love, but do you truly know this man?”

“Do I know my husband? Did you know yours? I know that my husband won’t creep into our daughter’s room and fuck her every night. I know that if anyone ever hurt our children he would KILL them and think nothing of it!”

“Lanya I-“

“Don’t you dare say you didn't know Mom! Not when I told you! Not when you saw him!”

“LANYA SHUT UP! DAMN YOU!” Andrea sprung to her feet grabbing her daughter and shaking her. Her eyes were red and filling with tears. Her grip on Lanya was tight and she was shouting.
